We grew up on contractor job sites. That’s why we’re good at this.
Viral Spark is a North Atlanta marketing shop built for one kind of business — home services contractors who want owned funnels, exclusive leads, and a real say in how their company shows up online.
Most home services agencies don’t actually know contractors.
Here’s the thing. We sat in on a lot of agency pitches before we started Viral Spark. The pattern was always the same — slick deck, generic case studies from a real estate firm in Phoenix, a pricing sheet that didn’t mention the words “pool,” “shingle,” or “paver” once.
Meanwhile we were talking to actual pool builders in Alpharetta, landscapers in Cumming, and roofers in Marietta who’d been burned twice by agencies that promised “we work with everyone.” They’d shown up to a discovery call and immediately had to explain what a saltwater chlorinator was, or why a paver patio with a seat wall is a $40K conversation and not a $4K one.
You can’t write good ad copy for a $90K pool if you’ve never watched one get poured. You can’t shoot social content for a roofer if you’ve never been on a tear-off in 95-degree humidity. Niche depth isn’t a buzzword for us — it’s the entire reason we exist. The contractor-hating agency model needed someone to come along and quietly fix it.
The home services industry is the largest underserved market in marketing. Roughly $600B/yr in revenue split across hundreds of thousands of contractors — almost all served by agencies that don’t speak the language. We started Viral Spark because contractors deserve a partner who shows up to the job site, not just to the Zoom call.
So we built the opposite of a generalist agency. We picked six contractor niches we know cold. We capped client count per city per niche so we never sit on both sides of a fence. And we put our own crews on the ground in North Atlanta shooting real work, instead of buying stock photos of pools that were built in Florida.
A studio shoot for one of our PI attorney clients in Alpharetta — every shoot we run is in-person, in-market, in-house.
Three things every Viral Spark engagement actually does.
We own our infrastructure
We don’t white-label other people’s tools. Our content systems, ad-account architecture, local-SEO playbook, and reporting dashboards are built in-house. When you hire us you get the actual machine, not a reseller markup on someone else’s software.
We go six niches deep
Pool builders. Landscapers and hardscape contractors. Roofers. Home remodelers. Custom home builders. Personal injury attorneys. That’s the list. We’re not pitching you a generic “we work with all home services” deck. The work shows up in week one.
One client per city, per niche
We don’t run marketing for two pool builders in Alpharetta. Or two roofers in Cumming. Or two PI firms in Roswell. Exclusivity is the whole reason we can promise category dominance — if a competitor calls us, the answer is no.
Every PI attorney client gets a full studio day with teleprompter, three-point lighting, and a pre-built script library.
This started in a contractor’s truck, not a co-working space.
The short version. The founder spent his early years on residential construction sites — first as a kid running deliveries with his dad, later helping run marketing for a regional builder. The agencies that builder hired were a parade of disappointment. Pretty websites that nobody could find on Google. Lead-gen “campaigns” that funneled the same shared Angi leads everyone else was already paying for. Reports built to look impressive at the end of the month and explain nothing.
The pivot came after one specific call. A pool builder in North Atlanta — eight years in business, doing solid work, slow on inbound — had been with three different agencies in five years. Each one had taken his money, given him a “modern website,” and quietly reduced his organic traffic. By the time we sat down, he was paying $4,200/month for HomeAdvisor leads he was closing 7% of. He didn’t need a fourth agency. He needed someone who’d actually owned the problem.
So we drew the lines. Build the infrastructure, not rent it. Pick the niches we already knew. Cap clients per market so we’d never sit across the table from someone we were also competing against. Stop pretending marketing is magic and just do the boring, repeatable work that compounds.
Three years later, that’s still the whole pitch. We don’t sell flash. We don’t promise page-one-in-thirty-days. We promise the same thing we’d want if we were the contractor — owned assets, exclusive leads, real numbers, calls answered the same day they come in.
If we wouldn’t write the check ourselves, we won’t ask you to write it either. That’s the whole filter.— Viral Spark, internal pricing rule
Six things we won’t compromise on, ever.
If any of these feel weird, we’re probably not the right fit. That’s okay. We’d rather lose a sales call than sign a client we can’t deliver for.
We don’t sell what we wouldn’t buy
If we wouldn’t pay for it as a contractor, we won’t pitch it as an agency. No upsells we don’t believe in. No padding the retainer with services nobody uses.
One client per niche per city
Two pool builders in Alpharetta? No. Two roofers in Marietta? No. Exclusivity is the entire reason we can deliver category dominance.
Real numbers, no fake dashboards
Calls. Booked consultations. Closed deals. Revenue. We don’t decorate reports with vanity metrics or “impressions” charts that mean nothing to your bookkeeper.
Calls answered the same day
If you message us by 5pm, you hear back before close of business. Strategy questions get answered in hours, not in the next quarterly review.
You own everything at the end
Site. Content. Ad accounts. Google profile. Email list. If we ever part ways, you walk out with the entire machine — not a re-locked white-label version of it.
The work happens in your city
Our crews shoot in Alpharetta, Roswell, Marietta, Cumming, and the other 7 North Atlanta cities we serve. No stock images. No imported content from other markets.
The kind of contractor we work best with.
An owner who’s already running a real business. Wants to scale carefully. Tired of agency turnover. Ready to commit to 12 months of compounding instead of three months of fire-fighting.
A typical shoot day — tripod up, shot list in hand, owner-operator in the background talking through the scope.
What three years of contractor-only marketing actually produces.
These are blended figures across active Viral Spark accounts in North Atlanta. Real engagements, not invented case studies — your mileage will vary depending on your starting point and budget, but the math is the math.
The contractors winning in North Atlanta right now aren’t the loudest. They’re the ones who built a real digital funnel five years ago and now answer the phone whenever they want. We’re trying to make sure the next batch of winners doesn’t take five years to get there.— Mike, Viral Spark founder
Drone day for a roofing client — every aerial roof shot becomes a piece of indexed local SEO real estate.
The discovery call is just a conversation, not a sales pitch.
Real talk. The first call is 30 minutes, free, and it ends one of three ways. Either you’re not the right fit and we tell you (and usually point you at someone better). Or you’re a good fit but the timing is wrong, and we’ll keep in touch. Or you’re a good fit and the timing’s right, and we send a written proposal within a week.
We don’t run high-pressure sales calls. We don’t have a “limited-time discount.” We don’t operate on quarterly revenue quotas because we don’t have a sales team — every initial call is with someone who’ll actually be running your account. You can ask whatever you want, including the awkward stuff about pricing, contract length, and what happens if it doesn’t work.

Let’s see if there’s a fit. Worst case, you walk away with a free strategic read on your business.
30-minute call. No deck. No pitch. We look at your current site, your Google profile, your top three local competitors, and tell you exactly where the leaks are. If we’re a fit, great. If we’re not, you still walk away with a clearer picture.
